How Hollow Knight changed my view on insects.
So I was watching some videos on the good ol' Youtube when I catch a Cockroach in the corner of my eye, on my carpet. At first I was alarmed, and then I remembered Hollow Knight and it made me feel bad for the little critter. Instead of killing it like I normally would, I took the fellow outside to be free! ... And probably to die from some dangerous predator. Oh well. Anyways, it gave me a little chuckle realizing that I had changed my mindset on insects just from this amazing game. That's one more irrational fear to check off my list!

I just put them in a big arena I've made from matches.

Yep. Every game apparently needs to have horrifying giant spiders in it, even the ones that aren't about bugs.

I'm not sure what Midwife is, but I hope I never see one in real life.

True. I will never forget the mini-heart attack i had when Midwife popped on my face.

I had one also, and there was a blue beetle with something like a hoodie that wanted a lot to fight in there, sadly he died while fighting in there.

I love the atmosphere and lore of Deepnest, especially the boss! I even drew a picture of it! :)

Honestly, I am more scared of wasps than I am of spiders.

Aspids are scarier :p

In the game, yes, Aspids are a dangerous(and annoying) enemy.

But what I meant was that, in real life, wasps are pretty scary. Especially parasitic wasps... *shudders*

Very nice drawing! Nosk was indeed a very remarkable boss. Now that i think about it, the spiders of Deepnest weren't that bad by themselves, but the atmosphere gave me shivers.

I didn't mind the atmosphere in Deepnest, but it was The Abyss that got to me with that ambience.

They were both scary in different ways, imo. The Abyss was more of an existential fear... that silence.
