Help with Crystal Peaks
This place is very tough for me, yeah I'm sure others find it easy and such but I'm having a very hard time. Anyone have any tips for me, whether it be charms to techniques or things I may have missed that'd help me.

Ah, so if you already got Crystal Heart then you can now move to the area directly below Crystal Peak, you will find something new and helpful there as well. It's a drop just before Crystallized Mound (lower right): https://hollowknight.fandom.com/wiki/Crystal_Peak

Yes, during first playthrough I also didn't know that I can kill those invincible enemies with spells, I don't know why I didn't try it ;)

Boss guarding the bench is optional. I also had problems with him, only after some time I saw he is in reality really easy to defeat if I just spam hit him and then jump over him to his other side right before he is about to fire, and repeat the process. No real reason to try healing at all, just spamming attacks, spells and jumping to avoid attacks.

First tip I'd give is that you can go through every area in the game except 2 without going through Crystal Peaks. (at least part of the way). So you can always come back later when you have more charms and hearts and stuff.

The shooty flying guys are the worst, don't try to do any platforming before taking out all the ones you can. If you don't have the (minor spoiler) upwards spell, howling wraiths yet you should probably wait till later if they're the main issue. That one shots those guys I think, if not it + Shaman Stone definitely will.

You can dreamnail the crawly laser guys for soul if you find yourself out of heal juice when there's no other enemies around.

Also you don't have to kill every enemy, evading is a very legitimate option.

Ah okay, I thought I had to go this way as I couldn't do much in the windy place (I forgot the name of it but I learned Cyclone Slash there) as for Dreamnail I dunno where to get that

hollow knight is pretty open ended. if you find you're getting wrecked a bit too hard, you can always just.. go to another area and explore till you find an obstacle you cant pass without a new power or something.

Well this technique I learned AFTER beating game. You can return platform that turn sharp side to normal by striking it with your nail. Also good to know that you can reflect crystal projectiles with nail and those bugs that have laser atack they are immune to nail but destroyed by Vengefull Spirit in one hit.

What gives you such difficulty in particular?

If you are ever stuck and not sure where to go, you can ask Elderbug in Dirtmouth for a clue where you should go next.

Thanks actually, those laser bugs were giving a huge headache and this is super helpful! I found out the platform thing as I tend to try and spike jump anything that resembles a spike.

A lot of the enemies I'm having a tough time with, as well as where to go. And that boss guarding the second rest bench. But thanks for the Elderbug advice, I never knew that!

Yeah, while I was waiting for people to comment on this, I got the Crystal Heart dash thing and got a soul shard, the great slash nail art and another charm that uses my soul to summon those hatchlings, I don't really use it.

Thanks a bunch! The advice I've gathered here can easily help me through the Crystal peaks. THanks everyone! :D I was half expecting some dark souls like answers of "git gud" but I'm glad I didn't get that

Hello, I've looked through the answers you've got and probably have something to add, which might help

Inside the Crystal Peak I always wear both Dream charms (the shield + wielder). Shield kills the laser guys in one hit. So I just get rid of all of them in that way.

If you need help on battling the Crystal Guardian... He is currently the easiest boss for me, but that is just because I had to kill him about 20 times in Pantheons (including the enraged version). To kill him without suffering I would definetely need 1) Sharp Shadow + Dashmaster + Sprintmaster+ Quick slash. And Monarch Wings
1) I alway come very close to him and give him 2-3 hits, than dash through him and repeat from the back. In such way he doesn't have timt to turn around with his laser
2) After he screams he always creates laser beams across the room. Those you need to dodge (that's why Dashmaster + Sprintmaster). If he starts pointing laser at you you need to Jump (press once) and make a second jump when you start falling down (press second time - that's why Monarch Wings).

He mostly hits me when he randomly jumps at me or in the air. I can probably make a video, but there're plenty videos out there - I need to check first if there's someone else who does it that way. It's a super quick kill, with a rhythm to it - you need to calculate how many hits you can do before he aims at you and how many before your cloak recharges.

Anything else in this location that you need help with? There's plenty of painful platforming, but here only getting the skill and patience can help. I wish you to stay calm and accept the challedge

I don't have dream stuff. And I just beat the crystal guardian. He was super easy. I think I kinda panicked because I had just beaten the Soul Master who was pretty tough for me. So I over try harded on dodging his attacks and such

Yeah he definitely doesn't have any of those abilities yet, those are like the last things you get in the game bro
Well, took me ages to get past the big guy with the lazer gun until I realised I just have to stand next to him and just whop the guy every time he gets his zapper out.
