Traitor Lord Tips?
I recently started playing again after a long break, and after getting destroyed half a dozen times, I remembered why I put the game down in the first place.

So, does anyone have a good strategy for beating this dude? I've got Cloth on my side, and I've tried using Sharp Shadow and Weaversong, but I can only ever get about halfway through.

Jump, dash towards him, wait a second, turn around, repeat. Pretty much for the whole fight, since he uses the 2 dash attacks the most (one where he jumps first, the other one where he doesn't). Except for the few rare times when he does that orange projectile attack or the other... digging/projectile thingy.

I skipped Sharp Shadow, as it lengthens your dash and may offset your distance from him.

(Or like the above poster said.. cheese him )

i used my classic mix of fragile strength, quickslash, quickheal and fragile heart to kill him ingame and in the pantheons, though if you are fighting him and not in the pantheons, i'd suggest replacing quickheal (because there aint much time to heal) with mark of pride or shaman stone, or whatever tf you'd like. you need to react fast: every time he starts charging a dash, go thru him with shadow dash. inbetween attack, go on the offensive and slash as fast as possible. if he does the downward punch, dash on anyways. you know how to dodge the rest: slash waves are avoided by shadow dash, and the spinny blades avoided by careful placement. if you have shaman stone, do descending dark just as he telegraphs his dash and you'll get immunity and a good amount of damage on him. ya'll be killing him in no time.

After dying about 15 times against this boss, I came here to read different strategies. I changed out my charms a few times as well. Just finally beat it. Most of these bosses seem to have a trick to them if you can master the pattern. Unfortunately, my focus and discipline aren't what they used to be and it is hard to be patient. My final charm equipment with boss victory was: Quick Slash, Sharp Shadow, Dashmaster, Sprintmaster, and Steady Body
I had the pure nail also, so that helped but it was still pretty hard for me.

If you have it unlocked, set up a dream thingie (Dreamgate) near the arena. It does not actually help with the fight, but it will make getting back to the arena much easier.
