Desolate Dive
I'm trying to fight the Mantis Lords, and there's a crack in the ground at Mantis Village, I heard desolate dive can break fragile floors, but do I need desolate dive?

I don't remember which cracked ground you are speaking about but for all cracked floors you need desolate dive.

Keep exploring the room with the suspicious floor. You will find a way to open it.

i don't have any idea of what you're mentioning. though it is true that the dive destroys those kinda floors. also, mantis lords do not require the desolate dive to be reached.

im interested about this 'fragile floor' location. where is it? i'd like to see what's beneath

It's a fight that's more dependent on reflexes then pattern recognition which helps to explain why some people find it harder then others.

I get the impression the Mantis Lords are actually meant to be fought after the Soul Master; if you leave the village Quirrel will even show up and tell you to upgrade your nail before attempting to fight them. It's not a big surprise they're harder. I don't think you're the only one to think so either. (I'm undecided)
Hes talking abour the big seal/door in the ground where 1 ground mantis spawns.
You gotta get the wall climb ability and search for a lever in that area.
You need to dash thru some spikes climb dash some more and ull find a lever in that area

thing is, im good at patterns, but my reflexes are complete and absolute crap at times. then again, at some times my reflexes match one of a gods, or thats what i think of them at least, but i concentrate so hard that i forget to dodge any projectile-based attack. it takes some time for me to register both patterns and reflexes, but i do get there somehow :D

(which is proven because just a couple of days ago i finally beat those bishes. fighting one seems ez, but 2? that'd be too much unless i get the godly reflex-pattern power back up. lol i heard one of my friends fought all 3 at once! that'd be a NIGHTMARE)

Actually the 3 matis lords fight is not that hard you just want to know when to hit them and obviously dodge
