A good place to farm souls?

you can farm Geo well in greenpath before hornet's fight pretty well. use the breakable greed charm too. like 800-1000 geo every ten minutes

Don't forget you can summon the spirit via the NPC to the right of the first village. Very useful.

Can't tell where you're at in the game so I'll put these in spoilers. If you've found the colosseum, doing the first trial repeatedly is a good way to farm. If you haven't found the colosseum but have found King's Station, the big guards outside give 50 geo each. Put on spell/soul charms and spam the down spell on them. If you haven't found King's Station yet, the Soul Sanctum or Crystal Peak are decent farming spots, as long as you're careful.
To speed things up even more, wear the Fragile Greed charm if you're confident you won't die.
