Uumuu and The Collector got nerfed pretty badly. Uumuu with a massive reduction in hitpoints on top of an increase in opportunities to damage it, and The Collector used to have minions that would take at least two regular nail hits to kill regardless of your upgrades or charm setup.

Those are really the only changes worth mentioning. The Pure Vessel got one extra stagger over the course of the fight, Markoth was supposedly also changed but I can't actually find anything about it, and the Absolute Radiance (not shown here) gets 50 HP per phase less, except for the final phase which was reduced from 450 HP to 300.

He had his health slightly reduced. It's listed in the pinned patchnotes.

I'd be fine with that, but the thing is, the earliest listing of his HP I can find, which was put on the Hollow Knight Wiki right after Godmaster came out, says he has 650 hitpoints. If I try to beat him now, he dies with 31 nail hits without Strength, and 21 with, meaning he must currently have less than 31*21=651 HP and more than 20*32=640 hitpoints. In other words, if his HP was indeed reduced, it was reduced by at most 9 points, which isn't enough to change the number of hits you need to defeat him.

I feel like if they are trying to make this the most difficult and skill intensive part of the entire game, then it is pretty stupid to nerf the hardest parts.

Except Uumuu, he can go cuck himself

I believe Markoth was dying to 22 or 23 hits with strength charm on before nerf. I can't do it now myself but it can be checked by watching some old PoH walkthroughs. Still more of a joke than an actual nerf.

Markoth received a small HP nerf. If I remember correctly.

I literally just explained why I think he didn't.
