Favorite Characters Thread
I just wanna discuss. Who's your favorite character, enemy, and boss in the game? If you've thought about it, you could also include your favorite charm or location, whatever you want. I just want to hear some opinions.

For me,
[Favorite Character:] Quirrel
[Favorite Enemy:] Moss Charger
[Favorite Boss:] Grimm
[Favorite Area:] Crystal Peak
[Favorite Charm:] Shape of Unn

I probably couldn't complete the White Palace without WIngsmoulds xD
Not just because of platforming, but because you can farm Soul off of them, since they infinitely regenerate.

I think I've firmly decided my favorite boss is Grimm.

My favourite character is definitely Dung Defender...

My favourite enemy is pretty much every Zoteling in the Eternal Ordeal.

Oh and my favourite boss Nightmare King Grimm because I enjoy suffering.

Favorite Character: Quirrel. He was the only companion I really had in Hallownest.

Favorite Enemy: Most of the enemies in Deepnest. They're disturbing as all hell and I love them for that.

Favorite Boss: The Hollow Knight. The battle may be easy, but it's climactic, tragic, and the music and atmosphere of the battle are second to none within the game.

In terms of gameplay, probably the Mantis Lords. Incredibly fast paced and extremely fun to fight. They manage to be difficult, but fair, and the Sisters of Battle just take everything I love about the fight up to 11.

Favourite character: Cloth (i liked her overall performance, enjoyed her companionship and sent her off well), Bretta (reminds me of a certain somebody that was fetched away from me, from an inferior person)

Favourite enemy: Big Shield and Nail guys, in later part of City of tears (even Hunter notes praise them)

Favourite boss: Dung Defender (only fight that didn't give me hell and i actually enjoyed)

Favourite charm: The one you get right after defeating the Manits Lords

Favourite location: Dirtmouth, especially sitting on the bench right next to Bretta

The charm you're talking about is Mark of Pride, and the enemies are Great Husk Sentries.

Thanks. I find it hard memorizing all those names, species and stuff. The developers were really creative and full of ideas, i can't remember even half of those (thankfully, guides have pics).

Fave character: Lemm. As a (former) academic, he's a kindred spirit. Quirrel and Iselda come close, though.
Fave enemy: Mantis Traitor, though I don't feel particularly strongly about this one.
Fave boss: GPZ.
Fave location: Kingdom's Edge by far.

No love in the thread for Bretta?

Fave character has to be Bretta then, it's the little updates that you get in the room, with the diary and the eventual "confrontation" with you know who which sealed it for me. Loved Cloth as well. :glenn:

Asking for favourites in this is like asking favourites games / movies / music, there are too many and too many good ones. Threads such as this and there have been a few are also a huge reminder for me that those rare but dumb reviews which come up every now and then stating game world lifeless, no character in the NPCs because unvoiced are just so wrong. :dungdefender:
