Best Charms for Pantheon
I'm pretty skilled - or at least I was when I completed the game 6 months ago. Now im sorely out of practice and at a bit of a wall with the pantheon of the sage. I'm currently using mark of pride, fragile strength, fragile heart, and quick slash. Any suggestions would be appriciated (I have all charm slots in the game)

I would swap out Fragile Heart and Quick Slash for Shaman Stone and Spell Twister. You could downgrade Mark of Pride to Long Nail and put in Sprint Master. That has worked for me thus far I like the balance of nail and spell power so I can switch between DPS types. I suggest practising in the Hall of Gods as well.

strength, mark of pride, quickslash, and steady body were all I needed for every part of Godmaster.

Strength makes fights shorter, mark of pride makes them safer, quickslash bumps DPS up by a long shot, and steady body gives you some extra opportunities to deal massive damage along with removing the risk of accidentally knocking yourself back into something.

I decided to go for a basic melee set that is great for every situation, and stuck to my guns until the end.

Quickslash, Unbreakable Strength, Unbreakable Heart, Sharp Shadow, and Thorns of Agony. Smack 'em around, dash through 'em, and stab 'em when they hit ya.

Quick tips:
1) Hive Knight is super easy as long as you dash through him when he lunges.

2) Ender Hu gives lots of time to heal during the attack where the rings come towards the center.

3) Stand next to where he'll drop outta the ceiling, and abyss shreik Collector's butt whenever you can.

4) God Tamer is super easy if you sharp shadow through the Beast's roll attack, and spam Decending Dark

5) Dream Nail Grimm during his bow to Godseeker in the beginning of the fight for some extra soul

6) Abyss Shreik, then dash away from the spinning club. Repeat until success.

7) Spam during the spit attack, run away from everything else.

8) Dream Nail Uumuu, then heal during the Lumafly attack that fils the arena. Don't kill Uumuu until full health is obtained.

9) Get rid of the thorn balls as soon as possible. Also, Spells during the Gossamer Storm attack are always good.

10) During the first stage, keep your distance, and only hit Sly after his Cyclone attack, Spin attack, or Dash attack.

11) During the second phase, use Sharp Shadow to dash through Sly's spin. Alternatively, if you have good health, stand in a corner until Sly gets near you, then tank his hits while spamming attacks from the corner. Thorns helps a lot here.

Well, that was way more information than you asked for, hope this helps!

I got through the first 4 pantheons with unbreakable strength, quick slash, steady body, stalwart shell, and longnail. Because of the extra i-frames, stalwart shell in combination with the others lets you get a bunch of hits you otherwise might have to give up. If you've got decent health going in, you can pretty much just tank hits on sly's second phase and smack him a bunch while you're invulnerable.

Sly's second phase can be done without spending soul or taking hits, at least with mark of pride. There is just enough time after you dash away from his spin, to turn around immediately and get a hit in. At first I was wondering how the heck to do this part but after figuring this out I haven't taken a hit from the final phase in a few attempts.

No prob, Pantheon of the Sage was the hardest of the first 4 for me, (aside from PV, who i still havent beaten) so i totally get your struggle. :quirrel:

The build I've been using is Quick Focus, Deep Focus, Grubsong, Shape of Unn, Nailmaster's Glory.

You have tons of soul between grubsong, attacks, and the efficiency of the quick 2 mask heal. Shape of Unn ensures you pull of your heals so you can very easily stay topped off. Nailmaster's glory is all the dps you really need, able to put up comparable dps to a mark of pride + fragile strength + quick slash build. Very tanky as you can heal in situations other builds cant, and you have a bunch of extra soul you can dump into some opportunstic spell dps.

Also, if your cyclone gets bugged to where it no longer hits targets, restart the game.

The first time I did P1-4 I used strength, quickfocus, deepfocus, thorns of agony.
Now I use quickslash, strength, sharp shadow, thorns of agony and either longnail or dashmaster.
If you prefer a magic build, change strength for spelltwister and longnail/dashmaster for soulcatcher (but I think that 90% of the bosses are easier with a nail build).

i think it could be nailmaster instead of thorns of agony it does more damage

This thread is three years old, I don't think it needs to be necro'd.

That being said, I picked Thorns because I'm bad (hence Unbreakable Heart) and also Nailmaster's Glory feels like it contradicts Quickslash. If you're going spam-heavy, Quickslash + Thorns when you get hit, and Sharp Shadow to stay up close and deal damage when dodging, and spend all soul on heals. If you're going for heavy hits, you take Nailmaster's Glory and maybe a soul/spell charm, and focus on dodges.

But that's just my strat, if you want to change it, go for it. I'm far from an authority on this game in terms of combat.
