Hunters Journel help?

So I currently have 162/163 on both encountered and completed, I haven't got the Seal of Binding from the Path of Pain, and I hadn't got the Weathered Mask (of Godseeker origin) until after I knew I was looking for 163 entries, but when I got the mask, my counter didn't go up, and lastly I don't have Menderbug (who I have been told isn't required for the hunters mark) I've searched for so long for a guide that has 163 entries, but I simply can't find one.

So I need to know, does the Seal of Binding count towards the Hunters Mark, or have they changed it so that Menderbug is now actually required for the Mark? Oh there is a third option of something I may have overlooked?

There's a 3rd option you overlooked.
There are certain unkillable enemies, you get their entries by finding their corpses. There's the Gorgeous Husk. And other stuff.
I used the wiki to find everyone. Helped.

Yeah, I actually have all of those, I've gone through the entire wiki and the only ones I don't have are the 2 I mentioned, but I'm struggling believing they would put the hunters mark behind the path of pain, seeing as the seal isn't even a monster.

I think there are 165 entries total, if all bonus entries are included.
Winged Nosk, Sisters of Battle, and Absolute Radiance do not have their own entries.

The Void Idol technically has 3 different entries, but they all occupy slot #164 in the journal, and every time a new Void Idol is obtained, it will override the previous Void Idol entry.
I think they actually mixed up the journal portrait for the Attuned Void Idol and the Ascended Void Idol.

I think they mean that the Seal of Binding is not required for the Hunter's Mark, which is true. But the Path of Pain is most definitely required for the Seal of Binding.

I had a similar problem, I watched Relyea's video on hardest hunter entries and figured out which one I hadn't gotten. Might find what you are looking for.
