Radiant Absolute Radiance is harder than both radient versions though.
Depending on how you respond to both, PV technically has more openings to deal damage, but he compensates by feeling more mechanically and reflex intensive. NKG also telegraphs his attacks well despite their speed so he's easier to predict. PVs are more subtle when it comes to his sword based attacks and thus takes more time to learn.
They're... Really even honestly. NKG only took me a few tries though and I never quite felt the same difficulty from him that others lamented about personally. PV took me a few more tries than I'd like to admit however. @-@
You can fight him in the Hall of Gods though. Which didn't really make him any less of a pain.
NKG is slow compared to PV.
I've finally beaten NKG after 1 h 30 min of tryhard.
By the way that argument doesn't hold up, because technically PV is a harder version of Hollow Knight, which people could have gotten plenty of time to get used to pattern-wise.
Wellllll... Look at the speed difference.

The first video's nice because it slows it down. Anyways the attack speed of the pure vessel is much faster, it gains the dash, the void tentacles, the holy circle thingies and such. Hollow knight gets the infected slam. (As a note, the pillar attacks are very different, as well as the projectile ones.) Another example is how when you attack the block of the pure vessel, it chains attacks instead of just slashes, which is all the hollow knight does. Pure vessel is different, but is still the dream version of hollow knight, ill admit. (NKG is closer to Grimm than PV to THK)
For example, for PV the knife throw ranged attack can be different versions of the angles the knives are propelled from. Whereas NKG, the ranged bats attack always occurs the same way every time (unless you interrupt him mid attack so he teleports and finishes the remaining bats).
This makes PV range knife attack harder to dodge, since the same height/distance from him won't work for each time he uses that attack, and if your shadow dash is off CD, just aiming for a dash through may end up in damage being done.
2nd, I find PV can be further offscreen and offscreen more often when he does some abilities, the teleport charge in particular (and maybe the tendrils to lesser extent). It doesn't have much of a sound cue beforehand to dodge an offscreen charge coming at you.
These may just be nitpicky, but I do find NKG to be a more consistently fair fight. Whereas PV some hits or situations come up seem a little bs.
