The final Pantheon is just too much.
I've wasted around 2 hours just to die at Nightmare King Grimm and then have to start everything over. I did Nightmare King Grimm flawlessly multiple times, and the reason why I died is because stamina and pressure. Take it like this, you've just defeated 40 bosses and you're so close to the new final boss, you're so tired and want to stop but you can't because you want to complete the Pantheon, and then you continue and die.

Why are there no checkpoints, Team Cherry? This is just insane, I have to waste 3 more hours just to get Embrace the Void achievement so I can perfect the game. I'm really tired of this and this DLC has been a disappointed after the second Pantheon.

I agree with you completely.

What were Team Cherry thinking when they designed this? I'm seriously just considering watching the ending on YouTube and leaving it at that.

Then don't play it. It's optional content for challenge enthusiasts designed intentionally to be a long haul challenge.If that's not for you that's fine but that doesn't mean it needs to be fixed so that you can accomplish it.

This is why tedium does NOT equate to good challenge in my eyes. I can handle something being really difficult, but not if it takes ages just to even reach it.

I WANT to play it, but it's just purely unfair. I've been completing difficult games for years now, and this is one of the worst challenges I've ver encountered.

I never asked for it to be easy. It's just unfair that you have to waste 50 minutes of your life just to have a CHANCE to beat it, and if you die, you have to repeat it all.

Again it's a marathon challenge. That's the point. You have to complete the early stages to earn your way to the later ones.That'spart of the designed challenge of the mode. It's not unfair or poorly designed. It's just a type of challenge.

It's a boss rush. I don't really agree with it locking out the ending most casuals want to see, but what did you expect?

It's too much. They seemed more focused on "Making it hard" instead of "Making it fun". I don't want to sink 10 minutes into a long-drawn out fight only to have to start again if I fail.

sit in the bench and copy savefiles. if you die in boss battle just paste savefiles. not sure if it work

Don't think so since there's been complaints of people quitting to the game after sitting at the bench only to come back out of the challenge.

Also HOLY SH-... ASCENDED COLLECTOR. My 5th pantheon run went 100-0 in a few seconds thanks to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

-They made almost every single boss in the "boss rush" 3x times harder (more hp, spiky floors, no floors, thorns/spikes around the rooms...) They were relaying on botomless pits for difficulty way too much;
-They made some bosses relay on RNG which made them pointless (The Collector, Uumuu, Sly, Pure Vessel);
-They added an achievement for completing the trial which ruins the achievement completion for people that have better things to do than waste 10 hours of their life to complete an unfair boss rush;
-Just to debunk the point of several people saying that the boss rush isn't unfair, yes, it is unfair.
For example: You defeat around 15 bosses just to get killed by Uumuu because you weren't having a good RNG that run;
-There's actually lore & 2 endings DIRECTLY connected with the trial, which only around 0.09% of the players will see in-game because the badly executed boss rush;
-The difficulty spike is way too big. You defeat 10 easy bosses and then fight an RNG relayed boss and die, next run you defeat that RNG boss and get to the next RNG boss after 5 more bosses and so on.

And if you think I'm just a "casual", you can check my Astats, I'm one of the first people that completed the first 4 pantheons and got 112% completion. Anybody on their right mind will agree that Pantheon of Hallownest is the worst possible execution of a boss rush. You can do anything else with your time instead of spending it for a good RNG run that will eventually come.

Stop defending Team Cherry only because you like the game.

Oh please, there's not that much RNG at play here. Of course, the RNG is too much for defeating bosses on radiant difficulty (no hit), but right now the boss rush is exactly what a boss rush should be (The dream warriors and Uumuu became extremely annoying to fight though.)

I'd also prefer if the final final boss had its own arena, instead of being locked behind bosses that are already quite the dance by themselves, like pure vessel and NKG.
