Lost Kin is the single worst thing in my life right now.
I've seen the message boards, they all say the same thing. "Equip this charm, it's so easy," etc. I don't believe any of you for a minute, and I think it's a poorly designed boss fight and this is mostly to vent my frustrations. If you look at my total hours played, 9 of them are Lost Kin, including the time when I played offline.

Anyway, I hate this thing and pointers would be appreciated. I'd love to finish the fight without breaking my laptop.

I wouldn't say it was easy. It was a real hassle for me as well, though not among the hardest.

I don't actually have any fancy advice. I just went at it with standard tactics (hit, dodge, etc) and eventually got through. I will say though that there's no reason to be doing it so early if you find it difficult. Just leave it for later, in fact you can even leave it until after you get one of the game's three endings I think. Sure you'll miss out on the Essence but you can get those elsewhere.

None of the bosses are "poorly designed" but I get why you'd find Lost Kin frustrating. He's a tough boss. If you equip Defender's Crest and dodge either slightly to the right or slightly to the left of his jump attacks ( depending on the direction he's attacking you from ), you should find the fight much more manageable. Quick Focus also helps you to heal in tight spots.

He, in my case, was one of the easiest bosses. I don't know if I just had the perfect charm setup when fighting against him. But yes, defenders crest allow you to almost completely ignore the annoying ghosts, so you can focus on just the "main" boss (lost kin). If you find it difficult to beat him, try to focus on his movements and his attacks. Eventually you will learn how to move out of his way and hit him back. Good luck!

Trust me, at first thought i thave think that Lost Kin was damn Inmortal

Then you defeat him

And then you do a new file... And Lost Kin is a walk in the park

just git gud friend, same thing for every boss in the game

Update: After 12 and a half ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours, I finally killed him. Thanks everyone for the encouragement!

My next post will probably be the same thing for the Watcher Knight or the spider thing.

Watcher Knights are a pain. Make sure to investigate the room right before the fight VERY carefully! That will make it a bit easier.

With spider thing you probably mean Nosk? He's a joke and very easy to cheese, even after he got buffed. I'm sure you will beat him in no time.

Congrats! Lost Kin fight was worth it for the dream message. Also I used a shaman stone/soul collector build to beat the Watcher Knights since you can hit two with a single Vengeful Spirit. Idk if that would work the best for you but gl.
