Oh god....they nerfed it too much.......
I can forgive nerfing Uumuu to hell, I can forgive the more lifeblood, I might even forgive the reduced HP on AR.....but making the Pure Vessel get stunned more often??? Why??? It's a completely fair boss fight! I know that doesnt sound like a huge deal, but that really ruins it for me. It feels so much less intense. Now I'm gonna feel way less satisfied when I beat the DLC.....sorry, this literally just whining that no one wants to hear, but I had to get this off my chest. Is there any way to access the DLC before it got nerfed? I want to be able to experience the DLC in the purest and most difficult way, no matter how unfair Absolute Radiance is.

Yeah, PV did not need a nerf.
Uumuu needed a nerf, but they nerfed it too much.
The nerfs to Markoth and AR are fine. I haven't checked the Collector though.

Its like when they nerfed Flukenest into oblivion.

Oh I was wondering what the update was, and that kinda sucks. I'm fine with Uumuu getting nerfed because that one was often frusturating more than difficult, but the Pure Vessel at least was fun because it was hard. I didn't get to the Absolute Radiance before nerfs, but if you compare them to the equivalent of a dream boss for the final bosses, Cherry can definitely justify them being hard. SHOULD'VE NERFED COLLECTOR AMIRIGHT. (Nice pun with "oh god" btw)

I have heard it's absolutly grueling, but honestly, I kinda like that (at least as an idea). Just an insanly diffcult trial that takes an insane ammount of patience to beat. and TBH, that still doesnt justify PV getting nerfed.

Honestly the PoH was quite fine how it was originally. Now 2 of the biggest challenges (for me) are just weak jokes.

Somehow I kinda have the feeling that there will be much more players who will appreciate the changes than not liking them. ;)

I like this particular nerf.

Comes to show that they lack a spine. :P

Wtf PV was such a good fight. I'm glad I had the opportunity to master it before the nerf.

Really disappointed that they would go this route.

The pv fight is literally the exact same. The only difference is with unbreakable strength equipped he gets stunned 1 more time in the fight. Considering everytime he uses his circle spell you can heal anyway, it doesn't change the fight at all for the majority of people.

I for one welcome the uumuu change, that fight is probably my lease favorite fight anyway, it's not difficult to do on radiant, it was just annoying.

Edit: I should probably mention they made the bindings harder by nerfing nail arts. So it's not like they made everything easier.

You clearly don't know how boss stagger works. For the vast majority of bosses, stagger is based on hit count, not damage. The only exceptions being False Knight/Failed Champion and Radiance/AR.

i.e. with unbreakable strength you get less staggers over the course of the fight. So what was the original number of staggers you need and what is the new one? I don't know, but let's say you originally needed 16 hits to stagger PV and now you only need 11. That means with Unbreakable Strength, you used to stagger him 1600/32/16 = 3x per battle. Now that's 1600/32/11 = 4x per battle. If those numbers are anywhere near correct, SeXaY is entirely right and you only get one extra stun per battle for most people. (not counting nail bindings or non-Unbreakable Strength builds, of course)

Oh I misread. For some reason I thought they were saying that strength makes it easier to stagger. OOPS

That would be ideal. Honetsly after thinking it over for a while, it's really not that bad. I still hate the changes to PV, but everything else is at least understandable even if I don't like it
