It is most definitely harder than Failed Champion imo. Failed Champion doesn't have much RNG. It's a totally fair fight that just requires you to learn its patterns. With the Trial of Fools, the developers are just throwing a bunch of enemies at you and constantly changing the environmental conditions hoping to kill you.
Like?
With multiple tries, you'll get it down in no time.
Talking about Failed Champion,Grey Prince Zote says hi.
lol I thought I would never beat the original boss. Took me endless, rage-filled days to finally beat him (although that was when I finally decided to be super-patient with it and ditch the lifeblood charms). Hell no to Nightmare Grimm and especially Absolute Radiance.
You could always do the easy things to hit 100% like white defender or regular grimm.
If you are fully upgraded, trial of the fool shouldn't be too hard, you might be over thinking it. Personally I found it much easier than radiance or the dlc content.
What part of it is frustrating you the most?
Nailmaster glory is essential, fragile strength, sprintmaster, even Grimmchild. You can complete with more hp, quick focus, quick slash or weaversong + grubsong (I love this combo).
As soon as the electricity soul twisters come in, I'm doomed. It's just too much to manage. It's without a doubt harder than any boss fight in the game that I've attempted because there are too many tough enemies to take care of in a very limited space. It's bullcrap tbh. I already beat the White Defender, Hive Knight, and most of the other optional side bosses except for Grimm/Nightmare Grimm. How hard is normal Grimm?
I just don't understand why people waste their time on that kind of stuff. There are so many awesome games to play, but hey, you do you.
Heh.. I find the White Palace easier, actually. At least there, you can take your sweet time falling into spikes over and over again as long as you have the patience, and Hiveblood+Deep Focus+Grubsong equipped.
Did you defeat the Dream Warriors? Not counting the newest Godmaster addition of 5% (though if I'm not mistaken, getting the God Tuner already gives you 1% and that's easy), if you only haven't done the Trial and Grimm/NKG, you should only be short 3% from 107%, which is already past 100%.
Normal Grimm does take some time to learn his patterns, though there's a way to cheese him with Abyss Shriek.
