Humming along
I caught myself humming the tune Cornifer does, while working. I haven't played it in a few months and the game is still with me. :steamhappy: Had such a good time.

I know what you mean. Just came back to the game for the updates and as soon as I saw one of those sheets of paper on the ground I started humming. It's great and I can't even explain why.

Also, I always thought it might be based on the song In the Hall of the Mountain King. Maybe I'm just imagining it but to me it sounds kinda similar. In the Hall of the Mountain King is also used as an inspiration for many other great themes like Kaiki's theme in the Monogatari series who is one of my favorite characters in that show. So to me Cornifer's song is connected to a whole lot of other stuff I love which makes it even better.

the Crystal Mines lady that you run into has a very lighthearted song that I hum to. After I finished the mines, I specifically haven't gone back to her because I don't want to kill her and her joyous music.

I also noticed I have the habit of bunny hopping around the Grubs when I save them and sayhing "Friendo! Friendo!"

Hi ! I have the same conclusion that you. When I started my search I found that it's also the main theme in Luigi's Mansion and it's a part of the ghouls 'n ghosts' stage 4 theme. i don't know where I could find an official confirmation.
