I literrally was like "Im happy i bought this garbage on sale. HE JUST WOULDNT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DIE
^this
also its actually not that hard it took me like 2 tries. use good charms i guess?
(i am assuming of course you do not refer to the dream version of this boss because you are mentioning benches, getting defeated by a dream boss does not send you back to one.)
You really can't afford the first f**king Nail upgrade? Its only 250 Geo! How many times could you have lost your Shade at this point in the game if you are THAT poor?
oooooh is see.
those guys are a little difficult. i cheese em by sticking around corners/platforms and slashing them when they are near, then go back into hiding. you can get pretty quick at this after a couple times, and then maybe be able to face them in a wide space (be wary of that ball that orbits them!)
I think he's referring to Soul Warrior.
Like everyone else said, upgrading your nail makes it easier. Also, learn his patterns. Most, if not all, bosses in HK telegraph their attacks so it's important to react accordingly. This guy only has 3 attacks, one where he teleports right above you (dodge to the side), one where he fires off an energy ball that homes on you (jump over it), and the last one he slashes at you (jump over and pogo his head).
Also, there's a shortcut from the Soul Sanctum to the bench near Cornifer the map guy, if you take the lift on the left side (not the lift that leads to the mini boss) and slash the wall.
Also, if you are talking about Soul Twisters, they should die in 7 hits with the base nail (or 2 Vengeful Spirits and one hit from the nail), so I don’t know how you could be hitting him for 10 minutes without killing him.
If it’s the Soul Warrior, then if you dash under the projectiles they will hit the floor so you don’t have to pay as much attention to them. He should go down in 36 hits with the base nail (and each Vengeful Spirit does 3 hits worth of damage).
The first Soul Warrior is in the area before Soul Master, remember?
