You should have gotten the dash ability from beating Hornet, so the next step is to figure out what new areas that opens up for you. That's how the game (and metroidvanias in general tend to work). You gain a new ability or item and that opens up new paths and directions you can travel. From there you mostly have to figure out where those paths are for yourself. The game doesn't tell you specifically where to go a lot of the time instead leaving it to the player to explore and find their way on their own.
Always be on the lookout for a map when you enter a new major area.
