The Pure Vessel is an amazing fight - but the Pantheon he's in is just badly designed.

Now, don't get me wrong - I absolutely love Hollow Knight. (Most of) the bosses are fantastic, the areas are fun to explore, and the free DLC's are all pretty good. But one reason I don't like Godmaster as much are the pantheons. Don't get me wrong, I love a good challenge, but after almost a week of trying, the Pantheon of the Knight has finally persuaded me to leave the game alone. I love all the new bosses* and, more so than the other fights, I love Pure Vessel. It's just the pantheon boss rushes before them are just badly designed. The choices are confusing to say the least. The first half of the pantheons are just annoying, while the second halfs seem relentless. This goes for all pantheons. I really wanted the Pure Completion achievement, but I just feel like it's not worth it. Especially since it's at least 10 minutes per pantheon, making it just exhausting. Now I don't want comments telling me to "git gud", or "It's easy" or "It's never the games fault", simply cuz I don't wanna deal with that. I just wanted to voice my opinion. Pure Vessel? Good. The Pantheons as a whole? Nope.

Dumb question but have you tried practicing the bosses that give you trouble in Hall of Gods?

Yep. I spent the entirety of 2 days on Pure Vessel alone, and he's pretty easy if I have a decent amount of health. However, Soul Tyrant exists.

Soul Tyrant is probably the easiest boss in this pantheon. I always use him to heal up after Markoth and Watcher Knights. What exactly is it that gives you so much trouble with Soul Tyrant? Maybe we can help you out with a bit advice.

If you are having trouble with him then why don't you focus on practicing him but I do agree. For me in God home he always felt faster and harder.(And please nobody say that's what she said)

Watcher Knight is when I heal, I find them really easy. Markoth eats my health uo beyond belief, and Watcher Knights is like a brake for me. Soul Tyrant hits me mostly in the teleporting and shooting attack, and in th spinning orb attack. I can do the second phase reletively painlessly, taking two-four hits.

You have no Idea how hard it is to not say that's what she said . But yeah, I do agree, he is a lot harder in Godhome.
