This is so frusturating to dodge how do i dodge this i keep losing because of this attack.

Yeah i do, you need it to get to the boss.

The Traitor Lord guards something that will allow you to access two of the three endings and after a certain update he is one of the most vicious boss in the game. You may want to leave him for after you get one of the ending (yes you can see all three endings in one save file), since you probably need absolutely everything to have a fair shot at beating him.

And yes, you do need the shadow dash thing, as the person above said.

I beat him, even after realizing how to dodge this attack it was hard as hell, tbh the thorn obstacles on the way to the boss are more frusturating than the boss itself.

What gate? the dark barrier you dash through?

Yeah, don't evade his attacks -- shadow dash right through them. You need shadow dash to get to him, and his fight arena is tiny. The whole point of the fight is using the shadow dash to go through things.
