What do you think is the 3rd gameplay mode?

We all know how in a certain beta patch, Team Cherry accidentally leaked that there will be a 3rd mode, listed on the same page as Normal and Steel Soul modes. It was called "MODE_GODSGLORY".
Now, what can it be? I personally think that this is another boss rush; but unlike the boss rush in normal mode, in this mode, either of those things can happen:
1) It's an endless boss rush where you just have to get a high score;
2) You can design your own boss rush challenge, pick bosses and maybe even their order and go ahead.
Now, what do you think 3rd mode is?

AH FINALLY SOMEONE THINK SAME THAN ME.
I think the boss rush is not the third gamemode they are talking about. the boss rush is IN GAME and not a real new adventure like steel soul. The Third gamemode will be unlocked when you have beaten the gods and glory questline AKA BOSSRUSH!

I mean, it was confirmed boss rush is in game as a PART of the adventure that is accessed in-game. There was even a video of devs going to a new area in Hallownest and finding that boss rush entrance.

I think the 3rd gamemode will be another bossrush mode where the knight starts with nothing and by beating bosses he earns new tools and charms, especially the glorified charms that have to be in G&G, or earns geo to buy things in a dream shop selling abilities and glorified charms.

Well the 2 common game modes for Metroidvanias in general are Boss Rush and New Game +

Well the icon looks like Godseeker. Considering godhome is boss rush i think the 3rd mode will be boss rush too

Its possibly the main game except you can't heal via soul, instead relying on benches to replenish health? It could also be a new game plus.

What I'm about to say is off-topic, but I wish that being able to heal with soul, but not with benches (aka the opposite of what you said) would really fit steel soul mode. Since you can cheat death in any mode, and that makes steel soul casual, this feature could make players who cheat death work even more (to get soul after spawning on bench), and always put them on risk. And even if you don't cheat death, I think this would fit steel soul.
