A lot of people actually find the warrior harder than the master, though I think they're similar.
Have you upgraded your Nail?

Also, better get used to fighting that Soul Warrior, there is an even stronger one behind that locked glistening metal door in the lower left area of the Soul Sanctum. And you fight both of them again in the Trial of Fools.

The weaker of the two is the one you're currently fighting. You need to defeat him in order to progress through the rest of the Soul Sanctum. At least upgrade to a Sharpened Nail before fighting him, though you could probably get it up to the Channeled Nail pretty easily(the Pale Ore in the Resting Grounds is the easiest one to get).

The stronger Soul Warrior guards the spell upgrade for your Vengeful Spirit (yes, the upgrade is very much worth the effort, it doubles its damage and allows you to shoot it through walls). You'll want to have at least upgraded to the Channeled Nail before pursuing this one, though I honestly recommend the Coiled Nail because he does not go down easily. To open the glistening door, you require the Elegant Key, which can be bought from Sly after giving him the Shopkeeper Key(which is found to the left of the Crystal Guardian boss chamber in Crystal Peak).

Strategy:
One of the charms that can help with fighting the Soul Warriors is Steady Body, which will negate the recoil of your swings. Its kind of hard for me to put into words why this helps, but it has something to do wing how the Soul Warriors move.

The most annoying attack that the Soul Warrior uses is the one where they fire a homing shot at you. If you have the Dream Shield charm at this point, it can help deal with this attack (Dream Shield is in the Resting Grounds behind a false wall in the room with the Whispering Root).

Soul Warrior 2 has an additional attack where they can summon Follies to attack you. Follies are flying enemies with relatively low health, they can normally be found in the upper areas of the Soul Sanctum in large groups. Use Howling Wraiths to dispatch them quickly (Howling Wraiths is a spell located in the top-left corner of Fog Canyon, it requires Mothwing Cloak and Mantis Claw to reach the area).

You should be able to defeat Soul Warrior 1 with the Sharpened Nail, but if you are having trouble you may want the Channeled Nail which requires a minimum of 1 Pale Ore.

As I said, the easiest Pale Ore to get by far, is the one in the Resting Grounds. To get to the Resting Grounds, you need to buy the Lumafly Lantern from Sly, then go to the dark room in the Crossroads and unlock the toll gate. This will give you access to Crystal Peak, which you must go through to reach the Resting Grounds.

While in Crystal Peak, look for the Shopkeeper Key and the Crystal Heart. The Shopkeeper Key is necessary for upgrading your primary spell, and the Crystal Heart is an important mobility upgrade that basically allows you to fly quickly over long distances. After getting those things, head down to the bottom-right corner of Crystal Peak. There, you should find a large chasm. Acrossed the chasm is the Crystalized Mound, where you can upgrade the Desolate Dive spell into Descending Dark, but since you haven't beating the Soul Master yet, you don't need to worry about that yet. Instead, drop down the chasm, and you will reach the Resting Grounds.

Once in the Resting Grounds, go right. You should find an monument to the three Dreamers. This is where you get the Dream Nail. After getting the Dream Nail, the Seer will tell you to collect Essence to rivitalize the dulled Dream Nail. You only need 300 Essence to get the Pale Ore from her. You can get Essence from Whispering Roots, Dream Warriors, Dream Bosses, and rarely you will get Essence from random kills.

(The following part is mainly so you get them out of the way then and now, rather than later)
In the vertical shaft outside the Seer's room, search along the left wall for a secret opening, the charm Dream Shield is hidden here.
Then go to the Resting Ground Stagway (on the right side of the vertical shaft), and head to Dirtmouth. Once in Dirtmouth, buy the Resting Ground map from Iselda(you can't get it from Cornifer), and give the Shopkeeper Key to Sly. After that buy the Elegant Key from Sly.
Head down to Salubra (where you fought the Gruz Mother and rescued Sly) in the Crossroads, and climb the outside of the right wall of the Gruz Mother boss arena, then use Crystal Heart to fly acrossed to a secret passage above Salubra's hut. This will take you to Blue Lake (this lake is situated directly above the City of Tears, which is why it constantly rains there). Use Crystal Heart to fly acrossed the lake (or swim if you want, its not acid like it was in Greenpath). Once you reach the room on the other side, climb up and hit a switch on the ceiling, this will open a shortcut to Resting Grounds.
In that room where you flipped the switch, if you go to the right, you will see 2 enemies from the City, one of which you have probably not yet encountered. In the room just passed them is an elevator that takes you to a new area of the City. But you can deal with that later if you want.

where could i farm the geo?

There is an npc in the City that will buy relics (collectables) from you for a decent amount of Geo, but only sell them when necessary, because unlike Geo, relics are limited resource.

There is a charm called Fragile Greed which can be bought from an npc in the Fungal Wastes that increases the Geo dropped from enemy kills by 20%.
If you've summoned the Grimm Troupe you'll have access to an additional shop in Dirtmouth, where you can reinforce fragile charms, making them permanently unbreakable, though it is very expensive to do so.

There is a charm called Gathering Swarm that magnetizes all Geo in a room for you, unless the Geo happens to fall in acid. It can be bought from an npc in Dirtmouth, though I assume you've gotten it at this point in the game.

Defeating certain bosses will reward you with a large amount of Geo (either by dropping it on death, or in a chest after the fight), here are some of them: False Knight, Gruz Mother, Giant Moss Charger, Mantis Lords, Soul Warrior, Soul Warrior 2, Crystal Guardian, and Crystal Guardian 2.

Also, remember to check Grub Village in the Crossroads, the Grubfather will give you Geo as a quest reward for rescuing the captured Grubs throughout Hallownest. The quality of the reward he gives will increase as you save more Grubs.

Soul Warrior is much slower and more intimidating than Soul Master; whether they're harder really boils down to how good you are at dodging.

I personally prefer fighting the Master over the Warrior.

Hey guys, what'cha talking about! You mean the teleporting idiot that spawns a lot of 'Mistakes' (or so they're called) while you fight?? Fear not!

Climb onto the wall, keep hitting the babies to collect Soul. (The monster can't hit upwards, so can't reach you there). Once you're full, get down and launch a few of those missiles at him.

After a while the room will darken. Babies won't spawn. Wait for him to close in to the wall and attack downwards '(Attack) while holding ↓-key'. Shade Soul is yours! 😎
