Statistiche:
Anybody else had a ton of trouble with Galien when they first fought him?
I've really enjoyed all of the bosses so far, but this guy really ticked me off to the point where I had to stop playing for a bit and then try again. Up until Galien I've died twice and because of Galien it's now 10. I've already beaten him thankfully (I just put on whatever Charm gives you more i-frames because I kept taking a LOT of damage by getting hit by 2-3 things in a row), but yeesh.

His little spinning scythe thing has homing properties and I think they can get a little wonky at times from what I've seen. It's VERY easy to get into situations where you can't avoid damage once he also has those two orbs bouncing around. I eventually got it just by slowing WAY down and only attacking him when his scythe stopped for a sec and it took forever. I tried looking up no-damage runs of the boss and all of them just use the nail charms and just wail on him to finish the fight as soon as possible.

I didn't really like Galien all that much. It just felt like a slew of RNG. RNG you can manipulate to a degree, but still RNG. This is a very minor boss to be nitpicky about, I know, but I wanted to see what other people think.

There are two Lifeblood cocoons rather close to Galien; one in the Failed Tramway that contains 2 Lifeblood, and one in Galien's room that contains 3 Lifeblood.
So you can fight him with 5 free bonus health.

Dying to the same thing multiple times is pretty common on your first playthrough. Once you get to the endgame, you will probably be dying a lot.

Oh really? I already beat him like I said, but it's pretty intresting that they put a cocoon directly in his room with 3 Lifebloods. I don't feel so bad about how poorly I did lol.

You have to go all the way to the left side of his arena, then go up, then go all the way to the right.

I believe this area is also one of the locations of the Mushroom postgame quest, so there's that.

EDIT: Speaking of Deepnest, have you fought its boss yet? Its a pretty interesting one. Its also hidden behind some breakable walls, so you might not find it unless you look very carefully.

Some of the Dream Warriors are balanced oddly considering you can technically challenge them before getting most upgrades. Did you have Shade Cloak for that fight?

Nope. It would've made it a lot easier I assume, and now that you bring that up, there was an instance where I happened to get hit in the corner of the room by the spinning scythe. I think it counts as a solid or something, because the scythe got stuck in the corner, I couldn't move, and I had to die.
Galien was definitely the warrior dream I found the hardest, but it was also the second one I ever encountered. I think he's meant to be fought a bit later than it is possible to first encounter him.
