Stuck in Hollow knight

After i killed the Boss in Royal Waterways i found a new Area under it and i explored it.
I jumped from a cliff and now there is a closed door and the way up is unreachable for me?

wait.. Unreachable as in what? Don't you have the mantis claws to wall jump back up?
I think you are talking about the Basin?

i dont know the Area and i fought somenew enemies, they spit some orange acid i think. And on the left side is a closed door and i cant reach the cliff. and the Area is unknown too. Is there a way for me to send oyu the screenshot?

That's definitely the ancient basin.
If the sealed door has a spiky-looking symbol on it, and some text near by, try going up and to the right. There should be a stagway station after a while.
If not, we might be thinking of different doors.

That's undeniably ancient basin, could you take a screenshot of your inventory? That'd probably be the best means of knowing where you stand in the game.

If I'm not mistaken, that area should loop around back to the entrance from below. Go left and down.

That barrier disappears after you kill the 2 Mawleks in the arena. If you have killed them and the barrier is still there, then it's a bug, and the only way out is save&quitting I'm afraid

Wow, I didn't even see the barrier there. In that case that is definitely a bug.

I hope you didn't sit at the bench in the Ancient Basin. Otherwise, the climb back up and out will be a little tough if you don't have the means to reach the boss of the Basin or have the tram pass. Seeing as the only other way out is the way you came in.

They made a stagway station that's accessible from the area below the tramway in an update since the start of the game, likely because people were complaining of that exact problem.

You can't exactly get to the Hidden Stag Station without the Monarch Wings.

Though, can't recall if there are any mobs down in that area that you can pogo off of or not. Would have to boot up the game myself and check. I'm leaning towards a 'no' for that, though.

No, the only enemies in that area are the crawlers, and none go down that far on that side.
