Weird performance issue/low FPS on Macbook Pro

Hi guys,


First of all – love the game immensely, and it's been ruining my bedtime hours the last couple of days as I've been getting more seriously into it. Yet, I'm experiencing pretty lackluster performance running it on a 2015 Macbook Pro – except for certain areas, where it's running at what seems to be nearly 60 FPS, parts of Crystal Peak e.g., and it's friggin' glorious!


I've learned that this area is a DLC addition(?), so I'm wondering if the bad performance could be a matter of bad optimization? It's not ruining my experience as such and I will definitely keep playing and hopefully complete it, it would just be sooooo nice if it didn't stutter quite as often as it is doing right now. I've put particle effects on Low of course, but it doesn't change much.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Plz no "yeah its a mac lol"-answers – I would be playing the hell out of this on my PS4 if they ported it...
