Dream Boss Help
I've been trying to fight the dream bosses (more specifically, the Failed Champion),and they are really starting to get on my nerves. Any tips? Which boss is easiest?

For failed champ I relied heavily on the dash slash art. Having double jump helps a lot too.
Also I would say he is one of the toughest dream bosses (if not the)

That's really amusing. He's the first boss of the game, and then becomes one of the toughest.

Fragile strength is a goto for dream bosses. For me, when I want to cheese a boss I'm stuck on, I go with Shaman Stone, Fluke Nest, and other soul gather/health charms. You just need to focus on dodging and find openings to get close and spam the spell since it does so much damage.

Do they all do 2x the damage? If so, then that's really annoying. I hated Broken Vessel enough when he did one mask of damage, 2 will be so horrible.

Funny story, my first boss encounter was the Brooding Mawlek. Thought everything in the game was going to be that horrible to get through until I found False Knight and was like oh.
ooh, i too stumbled on Mawlek early in the game (right after the dash) and died super fast. Figured he's likely an extra boss, so might as well level up. Obviously when I returned late in the game, he didn't stand a chance

I didn't even notice the Mawlek existed until I saw a let's play, lol. That just shows how non linear Hollow Knight can be with its progression.

2 damage (at least for non-DLCs enemies) is rather rare. No need to stress yourself about that

YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I have a chance! Oh, btw, I currently have 1200 dream essence, so I'm really close to awakening the dream nail. I think I need 1-2 more bosses.

I think you can actually wake the dream nail even without beating the champion. There should be enough from deam bosses (those marked by grave pins on map)

Which dream boss is easiest? I suppose that's subjective, isn't it?

The key to failed champion is to fight him the same way you would fight the false knight at the start of the game. Don't use things like quick slash, just focus on hitting him whenever there is an opening and heal when he's down. Mark of pride and grubsong would be pretty useful here too.

Personally, I find soul tyrant to be the easiest one, behind lost kin, with failed champion being the hardest.

For lost kin, I reccomend defender's crest to keep those orange bubble things away from you.

I think I need 1400 or 1500, so I at least need 1 more boss. I just made the incorrect assumption that the failed champ would be easiest.

Firstly, I am not good at this game lol but Markoth in kingsdom edge was probably one of the only bosses I killed on the first try, and I only took one hit too. I recommend trying that one.

I found lost kin easiest. Followed by soul tyrant. Followed by failed champ. Yes the question is subjective, but that was my experience
