Is there a way to mod the game to add them manually?
but I'm not here to discuss character design.
Ever since Steam added native DS support it seems that more games are finally using Playstation icons on PC, I wish Hollow Knight was one of them.
So I can only point in your direction, Maybe your ds4 is obscured by steam big picture settings?
Steam supports ds4 but it might just emulate it as xbox controller instead,
Great, what settings do I need to use to fix it?
I'm not using a DS4, I'm not using Steam's DS drivers.
Steam doesn't do DS3 Bluetooth, I don't even know if they do DS3's at all.
Most games allow an option in the settings menu, or a simple developer option, commond line argument, console command, text file setting, or worst case, a user created manual texture override. This game does not. It's still great though.
I can assure you that it shows the ps4 controller icons on a Mac, so the assets for the ps4 controller icons are in the game. Maybe there is some way to force the game to display them instead of the xbone icons in windows? Doesn't really matter for me anymore though, because I already finished the game. If a way to show Playstation icons is found, I'll enjoy it when gods and glory releases.
Restart the game.
