Removing Salubra's Blessing

Hi! As many other fans of this game I find this blessing extremely annoying because of her laughter… You can’t sit on a bench and simply relax while browsing the menu while preparing your next course of action. Muting the sound effects is not an option for me because it will ruin the immersion. So I had an idea.

I was wondering if someone knew how to find the sound file for Salubra's Blessing and removing it from the game folder. That should work for now. Does anyone know how to do this?

It would just be better if the devs made it so the Blessing deactivates once you have full SOUL. I don't know why they haven't done this.

True. I really like that idea! It only takes a couple of seconds for it fill up, and that wouldn't be too painful.

In 1.3.0.6, Salubra does not appear if you already have full SOUL while standing up, then sitting down on a bench.

I still get salubra spawning at full soul in 1.3.0.6

Maybe metalreflectslime made a new save after the update while you still have your old save file?

Just mute the sound when you sit on a bench. Problemo solvedemo.

Mute the sound and then in the steam shift-tab thing and open google and play the music. Problemo solvedemo..

This is partially fixed as of version 1.3.0.6.

hmm, I made a new save for lifeblood but I haven't made one since 1.3.0.6.

sorry for necro, but this might be helpful for those also having this problem.

you can remove salbura's blessing by editing the save file

you can do that on this site: (upload save then CTRL+F and search for "blessing" then set to false)

save files are located at : C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight

you can change A LOT of things on there

IIRC they said in an AMA that SB was made obnoxious on purpose. They said it was part of the reward.

While it's cute at first it becomes annoying very quickly. I wish you could just toggle it. It might work in a different game, or as a once off, but in an atmospheric game like hollow knight it just breaks all the immersion.
