so i vanished out of curiosity and now i missed the fight with the Nightmare king grimm and didn't purchase one of the unbreakable charms :/

I had the same issue and had to download a save from someone else to fight Nightmare King Grim without replaying the entire game.

Lots of complaints about that when the expansion first released, since it seems like you'd be making the "correct" choice and maybe setting up a boss fight, but instead the expansion content just goes *poof* and you can't get it back.

I guess I don't really have an issue with playing again to see both endings to this DLC, but I do feel a little bamboozled by the banishment path having gone into this free of spoilers.

I thought Brumm was just offering a branching path; a 'resistance' storyline to oppose a questline that served Grimm outright.
