Why in the world can't you cancel out the crystal dash when it's charged?

Did this on accident many times. It's absolutely horrible.

Git guud!!

In all siriousness tho, I see your point.. hopefully the devs consider doing something for it.

I want to say it’s not needed since you have ample time to notice before the charge finishes, especially if you mash the Crystal Heart button to essentially slow slide down the wall. I want to say that, but as I’ve done the exact same thing as you did way too many times to count, I don’t think I can.

I'm pretty sure should developers allow super dash to be canceled when charged but not launched, people are just gonna use it as a free stick to a wall without sliding for as long as you want technique, which it is not supposed to be.
It takes time to charge, so just release the button before it's ready if you think your positioning is bad.

Or have the developer give it an extra second of charge-up time so you got more time to react to it.
Team Cherry hates us.

Because cancelling the dash when it's not charged and actually activating it when charged trigger from the same input; releasing the dash button, a cancel would require them to add another input button to cancel it.

That and the fact that while charging you have enough time to know if you are well positioned so it's pretty much your fault if you don't cancel in time. It's not like you would instantly die either.

So yeah those are the reasons that come to my mind when thinking about that.

Or just make it canceled by imputing any movement button.
