No idea how to get to the pleasure house

Right of the Hollow Knight memorial, theres another building that on the map shows it leading to the pleasure house. However, theres a metal door blocking entrance to that building and I don't know how to unlock it. Do I need to go to it through another area?

It opens with a simple key, if you don't have one you should be able to examine it and I believe it says it's a door with a simple lock.

There are enough simple keys to unlock all the doors, but some of the locks are more of a priority than others due to what is behind them.

Here are the three key locations in case you haven't found one: Bought from Sly in Dirtmouth for 950 Geo, found in the far Northwest of Ancient Basin, and inside of the building above the Royal Waterways entrance in the City of Tears.

The only key I haven't found yet is the one in the Ancient Basin. The metal door is the one that slides up and down and unlocks with a lever. I see a lever behind it, but I was hoping there was a different way to get past the door without going through an entirely different area...

The Pleasure House is not unlocked by a simple key. Don't waste time attempting that method. To open the door you need to obtain the Love Key which is somewhat hidden in the Queen's Garden. If you do not know what the Queen's garden is continue playing until you find it, then look around until you find a dead corpse with the key beside it. Hope this helps!

The Love Key opens the Tower of Love, where you fight the Collector. The Pleasure House is where Marissia(?) sings and you find Millibelle after she steals your geo

I did open it with a simple key. It's like Darc Vader said.

The pleasure house is opened with a simple key. I was dreading it, but I made a huge detour and went all the way to deepnest so i could go around to the back part of city of tears, where the pleasure house is. That was my problem, I was really just wondering if there was a different way to get behind that one door...
