Hollow Knight and The Xbox One Controller - Tales of The Radiance
Maybe it was me getting lucky at the n-th try to beat The Radiance but here's what I've experienced.

There was some lag throughout the game while playing with this controller. I've read some posts stating the exact same thing: that their controller felt laggy at some points, especially when trying to jump and do wall jumping. Some stated that turning V-sync off, resolved it. I tried that and it did... sort of.

Fastforward to the ultimate final boss... I tried and I tried again and again. Maybe it was because I got better at it, or maybe I got lucky. I finally beat The Radiance. Nothing special there, but I did it when I finally decided to plug my Xbox One Controller to my PC. I played that Boss fight wired and I finally managed to beat it.

If there's anybody out there trying to beat The Radiance with an Xbox One Controller and keep failing... try using it wired. I don't know if there's a real lag problem with it or not, but it's worth a shot.

Thank you to the Developers for this amazing game.

P.S.: I'm using the new xbox one controller that also has bluetooth capability. I used the xbox official wireless adapter for the connection, instead of bluetooth.

There is an option in the game settings that enables native controller input. This was made as an option for people experiencing input lag, but a lot of people don't realize its there.

There is a pretty big issue with it though (its nothing game-breaking, just super inconvenient), whenever you 'save&quit' while native input in enabled, the game will crash instead of going to the title screen. The game will still save, but it crashes when it tries to bring up the title screen. No idea why this happens.
