Will letting Zote die affect me getting the true ending?
I want to let Zote die, but I also want the true ending. I'm talking about the Deepnest encounter specificqlly.

As far as I know, even in Godhome , the Prince's statue won't appear, when Zote is neglected. You can't even encounter him in the pantheons.

I'd just like to add that after you save Zote the first time, it's impossible for him to die. You mentioned this was the Deepnest encounter, and there, no matter how long you leave him, he'll still be there. I suppose you can just never rescue him and he'll be effectively dead, but he never dies properly at that point.

Well, at least it makes Pantheon of the Sage easier.
