It's a very low stress way to deal with that POS. lol
(And by leap attack I mean when he jumps around to the arena, not his downward slash that spawns the infected blobs).
Depends on when you face him and how used to the speed of the game you are. If you go from Broken Vessel straight to Lost Kin it's a huge difference in speed.
The big challenge of Hollow Knight comes from getting your brain up to speed with the mechanics and developing muscle memory.
Some people are better at it than others. Like I struggled heavily with the game early on but managed to get myself all the way up to Markoth in the 5th Pantheon.
LK is still slow though
>when hes not staggered, theres simply no time to heal
Stagger him then? Go offensive on him. His stagger combo window ends fast but the number of hits needed is quite small. You can also use defender's crest which you most likely have but its really not needed. I never had a problem with baloons and healing
Why not though? It just means you have to pay attention to more than just the boss. While the defender's crest may be useful for this fight, I wouldn't know because I never used it. To me, being able to guide the fight so that I can take care of the balloons without being caught off guard by Lost Kin himself is quite satisfying, and I don't really see how the fight isn't fair when you can counter everything he and his cronies do.
I don't mind other enemies being an obstacle. What I do mind is when those enemies are impossible to dodge. Sometimes it is impossible to dodge them because they'll spawn right in front of you when you jump. You can't not call that unfair. And keep in mind I'm not saying that I hate the boss because it's hard. I absolutely loved Nightmare Grimm, who took me less time to beat keep in mind.
