Also, a quick tip about White Defender; his attacks are random. Not the bad kind of random, the good kind. Only 1 or 2 of his attacks actually track you, and even then, it's random if he'll hit you or not. The attacks are made so that if you lose your head and start trying to dodge every little thing, you'll probably get hit, but you can stand still and won't be hit for upwards of 12 seconds sometimes. What I'm saying is, healing is pretty much free in this fight.
Anyway, good luck!
That said, if you want to try that, I'd make my charm setup Quick Slash, Mark of Pride, Longnail, and Sprintmaster. That takes 9 notches. If you have more, you could add Dashmaster, Strength, or Heavy Blow for bonus safety. The good thing about beating White Defender using this method is that you won't take much damage, so Overcharming is a legitimate tactic.
