White Palace Parkour is BS
I'm fairly new to the game, I'm late game on my first time playing the story. I have gotten to the point where all I have left to do is get the final half of the kingsoul and complete the game. During this entire time the game has been amazing, its fun, lots of secrets to find. I awakened my dream nail and obviously went to the kingsmould corpse to get to the white palace. This entire area just ruined the game for me. The parkour is just BS I'm using recovery charms (hiveblood, grubsong, unbreakable heart) and then movement charms (Sprintmaster, Dash master and sharp shadow) and yet I can't beat it. Its just so retarted. Can anyone give me tips or parts I can skip?

You do NOT want to use Sharp Shadow there. The absolute last thing you want is your dashes to carry you further half the time. For platforming sections, reliability is so much more important than speed. I'd probably drop Sprintmaster and Dashmaster as well. Sprintmaster because it makes any section where you need to do precise walking harder, and Dashmaster because it makes combining downwards nail pogos and dashing hard (you risk dashing downwards accidentally).

Finally, remember this is basically one big boss fight, so treat it with the same amount of caution. Unlike a boss fight though, there's no penalty for failure (Grubsong + Grubberfly's Elegy + Deep Focus means you get infinite do-overs on each section; Hiveblood also works if you don't have Elegy, but you have to wait for it to take effect every time), so take your time and figure out what you need to do in each room before jumping in. Are there any particular parts you're having trouble with?

Well I mean I completed the 1st parkour area and hit the switch, I got to the part where you need to do 2 separate parkour areas and hit 2 different switches. Those areas I just can't complete.

Dashmaster isn't good for white palace, you don't want to dash down by accident. Sharp shadow is a bad idea too because some sections are designed around the default dash length. Using Deep Focus along with Hiveblood and Grubsong makes it basically impossible for you to die.
Also, a tip if you haven't found out about it, dreamnailing the bowing NPCs gives you infinite soul.
i stopped at the part where you get 100 saws that go up and down, since then ive never touched the game. so yeah it is very unepic

Nah you're just very bad at platforming. The only hard part of white palace is the path of pain and that's completely optional.

Yeah, I agree that it's kind of bs. I think the biggest problems with it aren't its difficulty as much as its length and the scarcity of benches. These factors just make it a chore rather than a fun challenge. It's also pretty different from the rest of the game. Nothing in the several dozen hours I spent of Hollow Knight before the White Palace made me feel like it's not the game for me because I'm not great at platforming. I spent the last six months or so not touching the game at all because of the White Palace. Having returned to it now I actually find the place kind of manageable. It's still profoundly unfun and despite its dangers extremely boring, though.
