Fragile Charms question

So I got the 3 fragile charms and I'm curious do ALL fragile Charms break on death no matter if they are equiped or only the ones which are equiped?

Just break if equipped, but you can repair with the NPC that sold them.

Leg Eater will repair any charms you break for a modest price. Note, equipping a certain foul scented charm will grant you a ~20% discount at Leg Eater's shop.

- 250 G to purchase Greed (200 G w/ "Defender's Discount")
- 150 G to repair Greed (120 G w/ "Defender's Discount")

- 350 G to purchase Heart (280 G w/ "Defender's Discount")
- 200 G to repair Heart (160 G w/ "Defender's Discount")

- 600 G to purchase Strength (480 G w/ "Defender's Discount")
- 350 G to repair Strength (280 G w/ "Defender's Discount")

Also, after summoning the Grimm Troupe there will be a new NPC in Dirtmouth who can make them permanently unbreakable. But beware, it costs a ton of Geo to reinforce the charms.

- 9000 G to reinforce Greed
- 12000 G to reinforce Heart
- 15000 G to reinforce Strength

It's also worth noting that there are certain fights later that won't break the charms because losing them doesn't count as a proper death.

Just play on Steelsoul and you don't have to worry about upgrading those charms.
