3rd Playable Character?

When looking at future updates, I found something that interested me. Eventually there will be a third playable character. The figure shown looked a lot like Zote, but I can't imagine him as a playable character. Am I forgetting any characters that could fit the picture? Who do you think the third playable character could be?

I would imagine either Zote or Quirrel, but if I had to make a third choice I think the Dung Defender could be an interesting one. Particularly after the added backstory stuff from the White Defender.
