Both options give a different achievement.
I am finding Pure Vessel much more difficult though.
With that said, fulfilling the ritual and defeating NKG feels like more of a threat and challenge. It's just more content, before Godhome especially. In case you aren't able to defeat NKG yet, he'll linger in the back of your head as something you really will have to work for.
An intense boss fight is just more interesting content in my opinion, and I like to make things more difficult for me
1 - More content.
2 - Divine stays at Dirtmouth.
3 - Grimmchild is better than Carefree Melody in my opinion.
Banishing the troupe is very easy and simple, it just feel like an easy way to skip the battle against NKG. If banishing the troupe was a bit more complicated, I would be more satisfied.
theres literally zero reason to banish it. Both charms are crap, but Carefree Melody is crappier
screw morals
