where can i store my money now?

bank lady ran off with my cash, i got it back, but i have like 6K+ plus that i definitely dont want to be walking around with because i die a lot and sometimes i dont get my ghost back before i die again

am i just stuck carrying my money around for the rest of the game? ive bought up everything in the stores so i dont really have anything to spend it on at the moment, and yes this also includes tossing 3K in that one fountain for a soul thingy

Do you have the door unlocked on the right end of Dirtmouth? A NPC there will ask about if you have any "regrets". What that means is that you give them Rancid Eggs in exchange for them summoning your Shade to you and get your money back that way. You might have some Rancid Eggs in your inventory now, if not you can buy them in a secret room inside of Royal Waterways.

Have you paid for the expensive things in the DLC? Fully upgraded nail? Got storekeeper's key to unlock Sly's next batch of items? If you've done that all, I think you don't need to worry about money anymore. If not, see next paragraph.

Regarding losing you soul/money, do you know about rancid eggs and Jiji for retrieving your soul? There is also a merchant somewhat well hidden in the Royal Waterways to buy more rancid eggs if you need.

dont have the fully upgraded nail cause im having trouble finding pale ore, but yeah other than that i believe ive bought everything except for the final charm from that....worm? catipillar? thing down in the crossroads. but again my problem is that sometimes i die in a really inconvenient spot, and just the act of trying to get to a stag station is too much and ill die again before i can get to actual safety, and lose all the money my ghost had. ive lost around 2-3K from lost ghosts

In that case, you could be trying to get the charm Joni's Blessing and whatever other health charms you have lying around. Basically going full defensive/health charms and trying to make it to the next stag station without caring too much about defeating enemies, just getting through the maps.

Another option would be to get enough Essence to upgrade your Dream Nail. You'll gain an ability that helps you with getting to safety

You can summon a merchant through a secret passage in howling cliffs, her stuff is expensive though.
