No 1440x900 option?

I have a monitor that is a 1440x900 resolution, but his game doesn't seem to have an option for this resolution, only 1366x768 or something around there. Anyone know why?

On my MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012, 2880 x 1800 screen, running macOS 10.13.2) the resolution you mention (1440 x 900, the one used by the OS) is available in-game to me (though it might not have been the default one). I cannot think of a hardware reason why you might be having such a problem.

You can manually set the resolution in Steam's launch options or the executable application's command line argument.

How do I go about the latter?

My launch options looks like this:

-w 1440 -h 900

And this hasn't changed anything.

You right-click on the shortcut and and go to properties, look for the line that says "Target:", then go to the end of the text-line and add a 'space' at the end, then basically enter the same conditional argument that you would with Steam launch options.
Steam gets angry at you for using parameters on the application outside of Steam. Its both ammusing and incredibly annoying.
