The False Knight isn't supposed to be difficult. Heck, you can even break down the left door of the arena half-way through the fight and skip the boss if you want.

However, after obtaining the Dream Nail, you are then granted the ability to rechallenge the major bosses in the game. The False Knight becomes The Failed Champion, the hardest dream boss in the main game (excluding the Hidden Dreams and/or Grimm Troupe boss fights and the true final boss).

Your profile picture is from cuphead, so I'm guessing you like bosses.
I've beaten cuphead on regular, so I can't speak for the expert mode, but a couple of the late/endgame bosses are cuphead levels of difficult, and Nightmare King Grimm seems to be harder than all of the cuphead bosses on regular. I haven't beaten him yet, so I am uncertain.

Belive me... Nightmare KIng Grimm is way worst...
2 Masks of Damage...
Extremly fast...
Doesn't allow you to DPS him...
You can just heal in one of his attacks...

And he is not the hardest challenge.

Isn't Soul Tyrant stronger? Failed Champion is too RNG-based, like Aldritch from DS3.

honestly, the Failed Champion is way to cheese-able. With the right charm set, i was able to beat him with around four re-tries...
