location access order?
I reached Fungal Wastes through Fog Canyon (couldn't reach Cornifer and get a map in that location) and from there got to Deepnest right after getting wall jump, before beating..whatever boss' supposed to be in the wastes, i suppose. Met Cornifer in Deepnest. Found a tram ticket and took a ride to Resting Grounds from Crossroads. In there found Cornifer's note about buying Resting Grounds map in his wife's shop.

So im wondering if i got to Resting Grounds too early/too late or through a wrong enterance?..What's the correct order of actions to get there and meet Cornifer?

There really is no set order for any location access after you are done with Fungal Wastes. Normally you'd wander over to City of Tears, though. On my 3rd playthru i made it my mission to get to City of Tears in the most arbitrary way possible, the entrance from the right side.

Don't worry about heading somewhere too early or late. If you happen to trigger Cornifer walking away from the zone, you can easily just buy the map from his wife in Dirtmouth

I find the best experiences to be the ones.. unique from the usuall.. which yours so far is quite intresting

I haven't reached City of Tears yet, was messing around with wall jump and poking new places i could access with it before proceeding. Im not looking for a walkthrough or hints to stick to, was just curious if there was an 'intended' time to reach Deepnest/Resting Grounds, like after getting more upgrades(?) in Fungal Wastes or something like that. Reaching Deepnest, as well as the area itself felt like a difficulty spike for me, compared to the overall flow of the game.

Is there even an order in which Cornifer appears in locations or a condition on which he leaves? I know for sure he was still in Fog Canyon after i already met him in Fungal Wastes.

He has no condition to appear, he's just always there.

His condition to leave though i believe is "finishing" the area. like, killing the boss or getting the special item within

And good on ya. Keep your playthru unique and fresh. Have fun!!
