Can't find Brumm

Going for the banishment ending, I've got my grimmchild, and have access to the Nightmare king, but for the life of me I can't find Brumm. Not in dirtmouth, not in the small web home, and not in the mountains. Any idea where else he could be? Did I progress too far without finding him?

Can you still see 1 crimson fire in the map in the Distant Village area?
I'm afraid since you already take 3 fires on that last stage, you won't be able to find him anymore. If you can still see the fire in the map, though, then I think you should be good.

Just for your information, he can be found inside the left-most house in the Distant Village.

During that last stage, there's actually 4 fires that you can see in the map (with the left-most one being Brum), but after you consumed 3 flames, the last one will be gone. In my 2 playthrough, I've always taken Brumm's, so I'm not sure whether he'll be gone if you take the other 3.

I guess I didn't notice Brumm's. Thanks for the info. I appreciate games having meaningful choices, but it really didn't feel like I had the opportunity to choose.

It's still GOTY 2017, made by the best devs I've ever known. But I do hope they at least tweak it a little, so I can make a purposeful decision.

When you catch the 3 other flames apart the one is the web house, the flame indicator of this one dissapear but not the npc. He's still there and will give you a fourth (useless) flame and still talk about the banishment possibility.

@Tal, I've been to the distant village house after catching all the three other flames, and Brumm isn't there. And yes, it is the correct, smallish web house.

Strange, maybe a change happened with 1.2.4 cause i went there before with the version 1.2.0 and i still had the npc and the talk.

To clarify for future people, as of today I collected all 3 flames, and then went to Brumm in distant village and he was still there offering to meet me in a new location to fulfill his will.
I did not kill Nightmare Grimm and I think that's the reason he is still there.
For information, you need the Grimmchild's charm equipped to see him, otherwise you won't see him.

If you got Brumm's fire before completing the set of three fires he will move to the Howling Cliffs, at the same room where you summon the Grimm Troupe, with the pyre.
For example, during the third phase of the quest I first went to Distant Village, talked to Brumm and got his fire and then I went on and got the last two.
