Path of Pain,broke me
I got to the end of the Path of Pain and died to the mobs. I am now broken.
I decided to redo it tonight, the first time it took me well over a hour.
20 mins to finish it this time.

Yes it is, but retry anyway. The beauty of the Palace is that it really does level you up. After you do it once, it's a bit shocking how much faster you do it a second time.

The White Palce is nothing compared to the path of Pain and having to start over just broke my spirit. I am gonna retry it at some point.

The pre-last part is the one that you just cannot "level up" in the last moment.

Well, to be honest to pass it I needed to sell my soul to the devil, but not just Satans, I sell it to a lot of demons, some were from ancient religions, some were recent ones.

But I am safe from the hell because when my time comes, all the demons will try to argue who will get my soul, and that debate will be very long, so I will stay in some kind of limbo.

I think they might have tricked you, path of pain IS hell.

Then if something goes wrong and the debate ends, the "hell" will be like the heaven for me.
But maybe they force me to play over and over The Path of Pain...

Alright, I think this is the first time a game broke me, I absolutely can not get past that last part of path of pain, I've been trying for like las 1,5 hour, but it seems impossible. I even died on the very last sawblades once. Maybe another day...

I wonder if it's possible to hit the two Kingsmoulds at the end from the last reset point with the Shade Soul... The last part seems to be a long flat room, but I don't think I've gotten that far into it.

If you could do it once, you can do it twice in much less time. That's just how the Palace works -- and especially the path of pain, which really forces you to know specific skills. When you can bear to try again, you'll be pleasantly surprised about how much quicker it goes.

I died to the two Kingsmoulds after a good half an hour of trying that last section, this trolling by the devs was so good I'm not even mad. Though the idea to do the path of pain from the beginning is quite daunting, actually.

The only disappointing thing about the Path of Pain was the "reward". Quite a bit of a let down for me. Though it did feel good to make through the path, so I guess the reward was the skill I gained from beatig it. The part that gave me the hardest time was the room with the timed spikes popping up, and the saw blades going back and forth and the saw blades going up and down. That last saw blade where you have to time your jump off of the spikes as the saw blade is leaving so that you can bounce off of it, but still dash under the stationary saw blade drove me insane.

That was a poor description, but I'm sure that for the people who made it through the Path of Pain will know what I'm talking about.
