(If you're unaware, if you talk to Leg Eater with all(?) the Unbreakable charms the next time you enter Divine's tent she will have eaten him)

I noticed no-one has actually answered why Legeater was eaten (I know he becomes useless after all charms are upgraded). To answer this... They are both mantises (I think) and most female mantises eat males after mating (I know, this is wrong in every way). But it's SCIENCE!

Divine... well...
She appears to be half mantis and half termite queen, or something similar.
Either that, or she's supposed to be the old-timey "freakshow" concept of a mantis version of the "fat lady," a morbidly obese woman who would be displayed for onlookers to laugh and jeer at.

I don't think there's any data on what a mantis would like like if you overfed it to an extreme degree.

The point stands, I suppose.

If being distended to divine's size was normal for female mantises I'd be more inclined to consider that possibility.
Either she's a frankenstein's monster of different insect anatomy, she's incredibly overweight, or team cherry didn't really think about it much and just threw something out there. The first two options are so thematic with the idea of grimm's troupe that I think they're more likely than the latter.

Hmm... Let's think about this.
Divine Is huge... But the huge part of her looks like her abdamen (sorry can't spell that), and mantises eats eachother after mating... Maybe she is pregnant? She doesn't seem like the fatlady type to me, The Grimm Troupe seems more like an acting/theatre troupe than a circus.

Well, its not that the females wait for the mating to finish. Since they are cannibals, the female mantis will almost always just see the male as prey, so she will take advantage, but if they are mating and the male is on top of her, there is not much she can do to eat him. So he maybe got laid.

Does anything happen if you talk to her while you have a fragile charm that is broken?

To feed her the charm you need to have it equipped and you can’t equip fragile charms when they’re unbreakable

Another fun and tragic bug event is the Grubfather...I think the idea is his babies are supposedly to eat him alive as food.
