Αναφορά προβλήματος μετάφρασης
It's great but the controls are tanky, not smooth. Which might draw people away from it especially if they like the fluid movement of Hollow Knight.
ori and the blind forest beautiful and sad same as HK
axiom verge just classic metroidvania
i also recommend dust: an elysian tale
Guacamelee is awesome, just wanted to say.
Huh? That's absurd. HLD is closer to Zelda than Dark Souls. There are far more differences than similarities. It is top-down, 2D, and does not feature backtracking on death, or losing resources, or even grinding. If anything, Hollow Knight is closer because it has all three of those last things. Please, people, just stop with the Souls comparisons. It's getting ridiculous.
I see people mention Owl boy, but from what I've heard and seen about the game, its more of a platformer and it's rather linear for a metroidvania.
I wouln't consider Rainworld a metroidvania either, since you don't really get any ability upgrades or anything that help you progress. Its more of a survival platformer. I do know that this game is incredibly tedious, and very punishing.
I don't even know if I'd call Shantae a metroidvania, since it is very linear, and it doesn't even have a true overworld. Instead of having a whole world to explore, it has more of a level select system.
Momodora is good quality, but I hear it's only about 2 to 4 hours long.
I supposed there's also Sundered, but its combat is... not good.
The closest your probably going to get is Ori & the Blind Forest, and Salt & Sanctuary.
Though I haven't played these games myself, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.
While do own a copy of Dead Cells, but I'm waiting for more content before I actually play it. But the bosses they have so far don't seem all that interesting.
I've barely heard of most of the other games people are mentioning, other than Axiom Verge, which don't know much about. The only footage I've seen of the gameplay was from an early demo version(And in that version didn't seem to have any narrative coherance what so ever).
Isn't Dead Cells procedurally generated? If so, that disqualifies it from the running for me. Not saying it's bad, I've heard great things about it, just not a metroidvania.
The problem I have with Sundered, is that the combat is basically just button mashing and hoping not to die. Don't get me wrong, the eldritch abilities you can get are awsome, but it lacks meaningful combat.
