Fps drops
I really wanted to play a long time ago and I finally bought it. I have a fps drop very rare. At times it works very well [120/150 fps] but sometimes it freezes [17 fps] My pc is not bad, nor does it cause me problems with other poorly optimized games. [H1Z1, PUBG, Shadow of mordor]

I've been getting drops too.

Still not working, I was told that it is because it uses "Unity"

Provide **detailed** hardware specs. There are few ways do to that - download HWinfo64 (https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php), start it and make screenshot of the main window with summary (recommended method, most correct info!)

Hey guys what Operating System do you have and what type of input method are you using?
PKblaze Aug 7, 2017 @ 9:51am
Windows 10 64-bit
Steam Controller for input.

As for specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K
GPU: MSI Nvidia GTX 970
RAM: 2 x 8GB Kingston Hyper X Fury 1800Mhz
(Also, how do you expect us to send you screenshots?)

It runs everything else fine, just seems that Hollow Knight wants to be problematic.

Alternatively, in in Steam, click Help -> System Information and copy&paste it (could be incorrect sometimes).

Please refer to performance thread, especially section about vsyn and heap switches:

Game goes up to consistantly above 300 frames but still likes to chunk.

So is there any change when V-Sync is turned off?

Also, is there any difference if you don't use a controller?

No, the problem still persists, I'll try playing without a controller when I next boot the game. Hopefully that'll fix it.

Im just trying to find out if its your controller. If no issue with keyboard then it is and theres a few fixes to try. But at least you'll have narrowed it down. ;)
