Good charms for Broken Vessel

im kinda stuck on Broken Vessel so any advice would be great

Defender's Crest and Spore Shroom are both pretty good in that fight.

I didn't have access to the best stuff at the time, but what I used (to huge success) was quick focus (which you can buy from the charm shop in crossroads), spore shroom, and the first long reach charm. If you have quick focus, he gives you plenty of opportunities to heal. And the little fireballs won't interrupt your healing if you have the spore shroom. Those made the fight tremendously easier for me. You'll almost never want for soul, because of the little fireballs, so you can also make plenty of use of your spells against him.

Also, I didn't know this at the time I first fought him, but it might help you. Fragile charms don't break against dream bosses.

I just rushed him. Steady Body and Quick Slash and then a bunch of HP increase stuff like the Lifeblood stuff and Jonis Blessing (I don't remeber the exact combination). Rush in and mash and keep ontop of him until he dies.

Note that he said Broken Vessel, not Lost Kin. That being said, most of your advice is sound, regardless.

Shaman Stone + Spell Twister pretty well wrecks the Broken Vessel. Especially if you also have the Shade Soul. But for Lost Kin, you absolutely want Defender's Crest, Fragile Sterngth and Spore Shroom.

I just tried a bunch of combos for this fight and finally succeeded by using: stalwart shell, shaman stone, grubsong, and defender's crest. (I haven't gotten spore shroom or quick slash yet). Balanced strategy of dodging, hitting with nail, and using spells. Defender's crest takes care of the extra mobs and grubsong helps with giving soul when you do get hit. Heal after sprinting away from the downward attack that sends out the 4 orbs, or when he is stunned.

Defender's Crest, Quick Focus, Grubsibng, Stalwart Shell and, if you have the extra notches, either Longnail or Mark of Pride.

Didn't mention Spore Shroom or Quickslash only because you don't have them.

currently working on him but spore shroom, soul catcher, long nail, and stalwart shell have been what i’m using (i don’t have that many charm slots yet)
