Sharp Shadow Charm no damage?

Did Cherry nerf Sharp Shadow in the Hidden dreams update? when using Shadow Dash there is no damage only increase in distance. if not ill submit a bug report then.

Mine works fine. Maybe you had the wrong charm on, but if not try verifying game cache.

LOL at the wrong charm.
its working fine now. all i had to do was restart the game.

not sure when it started but after the update(Hidden Dreams) i hurried to Dung Defenders room to fight White Defender during the battle i notice Sharp Shadow not doing damage i thought that the boss is somehow resisting Sharp Shadow damage but after the fight i Shadow Dash some random enemies and it doesnt do any damage. even i remove the charm and use other combinations and change it then save it then put it back in it still has no damage.

so after i defeat the two bosses i quit the game then after i open it again and its working fine now.

Charms used in 2 boss battles: Void Heart, Soul Catcher, Wayward Compass, Gathering Swarm, Thorns of Agony, Sharp Shadow, Dream Wielder & Long Nail
(well i hurried to battle them so didnt bother to change my charms)

Additional Info: my save file is 100% complete including the Hunters Journal.

Thorns of Agony, huh. Did it by any chance started to happen when you took damage with and Thorns appeared?

not sure though as i was hit before i Shadow Dash the boss. but this was always my setup for exploration. i battled some of the dream boss never had a problem before until now.

For me it starts right after I get void heart. Sharp shadow was equiped at the moment and I notice it is not dealing damage to monsters at ansient basin. Works fine after restart.

I've had this same problem several times throughout the game. Here's to hoping it gets fixed.

This did happen to me, I believe shortly after the update, but it started working when I went back into the game.

The glitch happens when you gain a new Charm while Sharp Shadow is equipped. It just happened in my game, when i got Shape of Unn

No, the glitch happens when you dash into hazards(ie; spikes) or an explosion. Anything that interupts your dash will cause the charm to break. This has been confirmed by multiple people.

i had the same problem but when fighting nightmare king grimm [spoiler/]
i think its a problem with dream bosses as a whole

This is a known glitch. While equipping sharp shadow, if you dash into spikes (for example, if you dash and get hit by NKG's spike attack), sharp shadow will stop working.
