Zote you cheap bastard. Need help

He stole my girl, now he is raping me with his attack that took 5 mask per hit. I have to say it's not that hard to evade his attack, but sometime he just run toward me when i'm attacking, i have absolutely no idea when he gonna move, and is he run toward me or he just run to the opposite?
Anyhoo, can someone give me some tips, i'm currently using quick slash, mark of pride, fragile strength, and grubsong.

Remove grubsong and mark or pride, and use "joni's blessing" instead. When he hit that hard, you have barely any moment to heal, so you'd rather have enough health to endure at least one more hit.

ok, with joni blessing i can tank 3 hit, but i still can do that with heal, just heal 2 time when he stunned, but i agree with you about grubsong, i will try using thorns of agony, and shaman stone since i have too much soul to spend

in other topic, a guy said he dealt 8 mask damage per hit at max, i don't know it's true or not, but at the moment i can say radiance has nothing against zote. Zote is god confirmed

Actually, it's not 8 at Max.

It's 9 damage at ten candles.

And you don't get anything for beating the tenth candle. No achivement, no change in Dirtmouth. you get Nothing.

Except he gets more health the next time you fight him.

you have to defeat him at Colosseum of Trials before you can fight him in his ultimate form. He is weak, but in bretta heart, he is the strongest bug, a grey knight that no one can beat

Nope. Inside bretta house, there should be a light portal to "descend". It's inside there.
To those who play in steel mode : Worry not! You can die against the two "hidden dream" boss!
